The wait is nearly over. Randal Kolo Muani is on the verge of returning to Juventus, this time on a loan deal with an obligation to buy, as the Bianconeri finalize negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain in the final stretch of the summer transfer window.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus and PSG have reached a preliminary agreement that would see Kolo Muani rejoin the Turin club — where he briefly played between January and July — on loan until 2026, with a mandatory purchase clause set at €60 million.

The deal is structured to give Juventus time to balance their finances while securing one of their top attacking targets. The French striker has made no secret of his desire to return to Juventus.

He reportedly turned down interest from other clubs and remained in direct contact with the Bianconeri throughout the summer, waiting patiently as the club worked to offload players and reduce the size of its squad.

Kolo Muani’s arrival would mark a significant investment by Juventus, but not an unrealistic one given the club’s recent transfer activity.

Despite the hefty future obligation, the deal is considered financially manageable and aligns with the club’s long-term sporting vision — especially as the player is not expected to feature prominently in PSG’s plans for the 2025/26 season.

The striker’s anticipated return, coupled with the recent signing of Jonathan David, puts further doubt on Dusan Vlahovic’s future in Turin.

The Serbian forward, who scored in Juventus’ season opener against Parma, is increasingly seen as expendable. The club may look to offload him immediately to fund incoming deals, particularly with his contract entering its final year.

Alternatively, he could remain in the squad as an out-of-favor backup until a sale — possibly on a free transfer — materializes in January or next summer.

With the transfer window closing on September 1st, the Kolo Muani deal appears to be heading into its final stages — and Juventus look set to add a powerful new piece to Igor Tudor’s attacking puzzle.
