Pjanic urges Juventus to sign Tonali and backs Tudor’s new era
Former Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has spoken out in an interview offering advice to his former club and praising the new direction under manager Igor Tudor and sporting director Damien Comolli.
Pjanic opened his comments by expressing affection for the club and appreciation for Giorgio Chiellini’s new role:
“Juventus will always be in my heart. Giorgio brings stability and a deep sense of belonging—he’s invaluable.”
He emphasized the importance of Juventus returning to their former glory:
“They must stay in the Champions League and fight for the Scudetto. You don’t go years without trophies at Juventus.”
The Bosnian praised Jonathan David, calling him a proven striker in Ligue 1 and the Champions League:
“Juventus needs goals, and David has them.”
On Randal Kolo Muani, he said:
“If the club wants him back, it’s because they trust him. A permanent move would give him more purpose.”
When discussing Dusan Vlahovic, Pjanic was honest but supportive:
“He must score again. He’s experienced now and knows what Juventus demands. Losing time is never good. He’s my friend, and I respect him.”
Pjanic compared Kenan Yildiz to Paulo Dybala during his own time at Juventus:
“Yildiz is crucial for the team. He must stay humble but take on responsibility. He works hard and has great potential.”
Pjanic didn’t hesitate when asked who Juventus should sign:
“I’d go for Sandro Tonali. He’s Italian, humble, strong, and brings quality. He won at Milan and improved in England. He’s what Juventus needs.”
Pjanic applauded Igor Tudor’s impact and called for clarity and ambition under his guidance:
“His teams have identity. Juventus must stop making excuses and aim for trophies again.”
He also commented on Massimiliano Allegri’s move to AC Milan:
“Allegri is one of the best. Milan expect top-four, but with him, they can aim higher. If Modric joins him, they’ll form a perfect pair.”
Finally, Pjanic shared his predictions for the title race:
“Napoli had a miracle season under Conte. Inter should have won last season. If they sign Lookman, they’ll be the team to beat again.”
With strong opinions and heartfelt advice, Pjanic remains a passionate voice around Juventus. His call to sign Tonali and restore a winning mentality reflects what many fans hope to see in the new season.
