Possible full-back options for Juventus

Juventus is set to reinforce the midfield this summer. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, “Juventus are working to complete Paul Pogba deal in the next few days. Talks progressing with agent Rafaela Pimenta, it’s considered matter of final details. Top signing expected to be done and sealed very soon.”

Although midfield is not the only position that the management is going to strengthen. With the likes of Juan Cuadrado and Alex Sandro having contracts expiring in 2023, Juventus would like to make new signings to substantiate the wings. Here are the few names that are doing rounds for possible transfers.

Nahuel Molina


Nahuel Molina is seen as one of the best  young right backs in Italy right now. In the 2021-22 season, he scored 7 goals and recorded 5 assists in 35 appearances in Serie A.

As per tuttosport – The negotiations between Juventus and Udinese over Molina are underway. There is confidence an agreement could be struck but it takes the right formula

Destiny Udogie

Destiny Udogie is on loan at Udinese  from Hellas Verona with a right to redeem permanently. Udogie being a perfect option for left back, scored 5 goals and made 3 assists in 35 appearances in the league. Although the Udinese director Pierpaolo Marino stated that they don’t want to sell the player this summer. Juventus would be looking forward to striking a deal.

He said: “For now, Udinese decided to not to let Udogie go. But the deal could still go ahead as there are many requests. In addition to Juventus there are some EPL clubs, among them Tottenham.”

Emerson Palmieri


Emerson Palmieri is currently on loan in Ligue 1 side Lyon from Chelsea. The player found the back of the net once and recorded 2 assists in 29 appearances in Ligue 1 last season. After returning to Chelsea after his one year loan spell at Lyon, would the player stay or move to another club is still up for discussion.

According to Tuttosport: “The club is studying the right formula by including an exchange. The Emerson Palmieri deal is less expensive, the great relationship with Chelsea should facilitate it.

Renan Lodi


Renan Lodi of Atlético Madrid is another left back who has been linked with Juventus. Despite being expensive, the fullback is a promising player for the bianconeri. The player is being heavily linked with many European clubs this summer. The Brazilian made 42 appearances scored 4 goals and made 5 assists across all competitions. Although the player seems a far fetched option in the market currently.
