Real Madrid have decided not to pursue a move for Gleison Bremer, despite strong scouting interest from their chief scout Juni Calafat.
The Juventus defender is valued at €60 million, a price Los Blancos consider too high for a 28-year-old player.
Madrid are instead focusing on other centre-back targets, with Ibrahima Konate, Dayot Upamecano, and Marc Guehi all available on free transfers next summer.

Their long-term dream signing, William Saliba, is no longer an option after he renewed his contract with Arsenal.
While Real Madrid have said “goodbye” to Bremer, Liverpool are still very interested. The Premier League champions need a new centre-back as Virgil van Dijk approaches the later stages of his career and Konate could leave next summer.
Liverpool nearly signed Bremer in 2024, and their long-standing interest gives them an edge over rivals Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City, who are also watching the player.

Juventus coach Igor Tudor praised Bremer last month, saying:
“He’s incredibly important from every perspective – as a player and as a leader this locker room needs. On the pitch he becomes mean, but he’s a great guy and makes himself available.”
Bremer, under contract until 2029, has been a key figure since joining Juventus in 2022. With his strong defensive skills and leadership, he remains one of the most wanted defenders in Europe.
