Renato Veiga has opened up to Sky Sports after his start to life at Juventus. Fans so far have fallen in love with Veiga after his good performances. There has also been a lot of talk around his mentality, something which fans say, Juventus has been missing.
His comments have supported this motion of understanding the Juventus values, this was shown when talking about the up and coming match with rival, Inter Milan. Veiga said “We want to beat Inter on Sunday because we are Juventus”
This shows that Veiga and Juventus are ready for the challenge Inter will give to Juventus. This is because they are fighting for every single point this season, while so are Juventus. Stuck in a key battle for top four this season with Lazio and Fiorentina.
Letting points go in this race would be detrimental as Juventus are two points behind Lazio and a single point ahead of Fiorentina. This also means Juventus can’t run themselves into the ground for a single game with many more to go.
This is a sentiment Veiga has also shared when talking about the rest of Juventus’s season saying “My goal is to always lead Juventus to win. I’m someone who thinks game by game and about the present.” In this quote Veiga also shows his mentality of always taking Juventus to victory which I mentioned before.
