Report: Di Maria is open to playing for Juventus

Juventus are planning a rebuild this summer with out-of-contract players leaving after this season and plans to sell players who are out of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans. With the notable Argentine Paulo Dybala leaving this summer, Juventus have identified Angel Di Maria as the short-term solution to replace La Joya.

Di Maria’s contract with Paris Saint Germain ends this summer like Dybala’s and is said to be a real possibility and he really likes Juventus as an option according to sports journalist Matteo Moretto. The 34-year-old has been one of the key pieces in PSG’s domestic successes during his time at the club and still has plenty left to give.

The Argentine played a huge role in last summer’s Copa America where he helped lead his country to the international trophy. This season with the French club, the forward has three goals and seven assists adding to his total of 91 goals and 117 assists during his time at PSG.
