According to a new report from Fabiana Della Valle in this morning’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is keeping an eye on Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, who was previously linked to the club last summer and are planning a summer move for the Brazilian. Also, he may be tempted to go since, despite a strong start to the season, Jesus has been repeatedly benched in favour of Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez, and Jack Grealish. In addition, if they sign Haaland or Kane with Julian Alvarez, where would he fit at Manchester City?

Expiring in 2023 (which could force the club to lower its claims), Jesus is also an Adidas man, and Massimiliano Allegri really likes him, who has previously given his consent to the purchase: despite his young age, he can count on a good wealth of experience in the international arena (both with Brazil and with City), and it would be ideal for the 4-3-3 that the Livorno coach has in mind for next season, with the advantage of being able to be used.

As per Fabiana Della Valle, Juve might pay up to thirty million euros for the player, taking into account his not-insignificant annual wage of around 5 million euros. In the summer, the player appeared to be interested in a move to Italy, but more permanently than on loan: if the English club’s consent came this time, the negotiations might truly get underway.
