Today’s match between Roma and Juventus ended in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The game saw an equal share of possession, with both teams having several chances to score.

Roma took the lead early in the first half, with a goal from Romelu Lukaku in the 15th minute.

However, Juventus managed to equalize in the 31st minute thanks to a goal from Bremer.

The second half saw both teams pushing for a winning goal, but neither managed to find the back of the net again.

Juventus player ratings against Roma

Szczesny [7] – Finds himself next to Gatti, a wall-like version, indeed. But a rubber wall. In the end, delivers a perfect save on Abraham: foils the trickery.

Danilo [6] – Rollercoaster ride. On Roma’s goal, he has the highest error coefficient of all: doesn’t tighten, doesn’t close. Allows it: serious. Slips on Baldanzi. But crucial on Kristensen.

Bremer [7.5] – Jumps higher than anyone, and it’s a spring he’ll need throughout the match. Scores a significant goal. Prevents a significant goal, against Pellegrini.

Gatti [5.5] – What to do? Clear it or not? Certainly, that ball shouldn’t have been ‘touched’. Finds himself there, and becomes a victim of indecision.

Weah [6] – Pace. Energy (not the one against Paredes). Some flaws, but the feeling is he has found his balance. Although too late. Allegri gets scared and – rightly so – substitutes him.

McKennie [5.5] – In the first half of the season, he was Juventus’s symbol. One might say: it’s practically the same for the second half of the season. Bites more on opponents, but stings less in the attacking third. Differences, and not subtle ones.

Locatelli [6] – Juventus doesn’t flow through him, and he doesn’t take on too many responsibilities. Contains, sometimes well. Like on Pellegrini’s shot. Nearly scores in the end.

Rabiot [6] – Two flashes, don’t ask for consistency from him. Sometimes, when he closes the action or runs free, he still seems to have a clear purpose in this team.

Cambiaso [6] – Comes deep and tries to take on the responsibilities of a lively midfield, but lacks flair.

Chiesa [8] – Everything goes through him, and he handles it magnificently. A defibrillator and emotion: Juventus doesn’t give up because he doesn’t.

Vlahovic [5] – Off to a bad start, the mistake. A stain on the match. How many times have we seen such a situation?

Allegri [6] – The team shows signs, went to Rome to play a final. The reaction after Lukaku’s goal is still a good sign: for the objective, everything is fine, absolutely everything.

Kostic [5.5] – Nothing unforgettable.

Kean [6] – Wants to battle with everyone, but has little time and very few balls. Finds a strong Svilar in the most dangerous situation.

Milik [6] – Caught offside halfway: makes the wrong choice. But a good entry.

Alcaraz [6] – Tries to infiltrate, stands out for a tackle. Decisive.
