Round-up: Three clubs on Kostic, Nicolussi Caviglia hesitating and Szczesny’s exit imminent
There’s growing interest in Hans Nicolussi Caviglia. The latest club to inquire about the young midfielder is Lecce, looking for a replacement for Joan Gonzalez.
However, a move to Lecce doesn’t seem to excite Nicolussi who is currently focused on impressing new Juventus manager Thiago Motta during pre-season training. Motta, in turn, is closely evaluating the young player.
This suggests that Nicolussi might not be the Juventus midfielder heading out this transfer window. Other clubs interested in Nicolussi include Como, Parma, and Venezia, with the latter expected to make a formal offer of €7 million this week.
Kostic Likely to Depart
Filip Kostic is not in manager Motta’s plans and is expected to leave Juventus. His agent is working on finding a new club for the Serbian winger.
Juventus hopes to receive between €8-10 million for the player who still has two years left on his contract. Atletico Madrid has shown initial interest, while Fenerbahce and Crystal Palace are also monitoring the situation.
Szczesny’s Exit Imminent
Wojciech Szczesny will also leave Juventus. Al Nassr could revive their interest after failing to sign Ederson from Manchester City.
Monza is another potential destination, with Juventus possibly covering a significant portion of the goalkeeper’s salary to facilitate the move.
