Juventus will not be signing Sandro Tonali this summer. The Italian midfielder has turned down their offer and decided to stay at Newcastle United in the English Premier League.
According to TMW, Tonali gave Juventus a clear answer he wants to continue his career in England and is not interested in returning to Italy right now.
Because of this, Juventus must now look at other midfielders. One of the options is Davide Frattesi from Inter Milan.
Frattesi played well this season and helped Inter reach the Champions League final. Many clubs are interested in him, but Inter now have a new manager, so his future is still unclear.
Another main target is Ederson from Atalanta. However, signing him will be difficult. Atalanta don’t want to sell him for less than €50 million, which is a big price for Juventus.
With Tonali out of the picture, Juventus will need to move quickly to find a new midfielder before the season starts.
