Simeone brace seals victory for Verona

The match couldn’t have started any worse for Juventus. Inform striker Giovanni Simeone gave Hellas Verona the lead with his 5th and 6th goal in 2 matches. In the 11th minute, Barak’s shot was saved by Szczęsny, but Simeone scored the rebound. Simeone doubled Verona’s lead with a fantastic curler from outside the box. Juventus’s only danger came from Paulo Dybala, who seemed to be the only player who wanted to do something about the 2-0. First, he fired a volley over the goal after a combination with Morata. Dybala fired another shot towards the left top corner, but Montipo pulled off a spectecular save.
