Juventus board meeting to discuss financials and leadership changes

The Juventus Board of Directors meeting on September 26 is expected to bring significant updates beyond the finalization of the club’s financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2025.

While the balance sheet is projected to show a much-reduced loss compared to the previous year, the meeting could also introduce major changes to the club’s leadership structure.

According to Calcio Finanza, Damien Comolli is a strong candidate to become the new CEO of the club, while Giorgio Chiellini is expected to join the Board of Directors.

The report also suggests that Maurizio Scanavino, a trusted associate of John Elkann, might leave his position and be reassigned within the Exor group.

Additionally, the possibility of a capital increase of €110–120 million is on the table, with €30 million already contributed by the ownership in previous months.

With the new season underway and a more stable internal environment, Juventus appears to be entering a phase of corporate restructuring. Comolli, who arrived in Turin on June 1, is slated to lead this transition.

His primary focus has been the summer transfer market, where he achieved notable results despite the challenges. These results will be formally presented at the meeting.

Calcio Finanza notes that Juventus’s summer transfer campaign generated a positive balance of €35.4 million for the 2025–26 financial year.

This is a significant outcome, especially since the overall cost of the squad remained stable despite an increase in the total wage bill.

Gross salaries will rise to approximately €122.9 million, an increase of 12.5%, but the overall cost of the squad grew by only a minimal amount, from €233.5 million to €235.2 million. This demonstrates the balanced management of Comolli’s first transfer window.
