Juventus have made a move to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, opening discussions over a potential £25 million transfer ahead of the summer window.

The Italian giants are reportedly eager to bring the England international to Turin and have already sounded out the structure of a possible deal.

Sancho, 24, has been out of favour at Old Trafford following a high-profile fallout with manager Erik ten Hag, which led to his loan move to Borussia Dortmund in January.

Although his stint back in the Bundesliga showed glimpses of his former self, Manchester United have no intention of reintegrating Sancho into the first-team setup.

With two years left on his contract, the Red Devils are seeking a permanent exit and hope to recoup a portion of the £73 million they paid to sign him in 2021.

While Juventus lead the race for Sancho’s signature, Napoli have also expressed interest in the winger. However, financial constraints could hinder any deal, with Sancho’s current wage demands considered too steep for the Naples-based club.

Juventus, on the other hand, are in a better position to meet both the transfer fee and the player’s salary expectations.

Sources close to the situation indicate that Napoli are still in contact with Sancho’s representatives but would require a significant wage reduction to proceed.

Manchester United are prioritizing a permanent sale and have placed a £25 million price tag on the player. The club views this summer as a critical moment to offload Sancho and streamline their squad under Ten Hag’s continued rebuild.

From the player’s side, Sancho is understood to be open to a new challenge, with Juventus emerging as an attractive destination.

Discussions are ongoing, and while no final agreement has been reached, there is optimism on all sides that a deal can be struck.

If successful, the move would represent a fresh start for Sancho and provide Juventus with a high-profile addition to boost their attacking options for the upcoming Serie A campaign.
