Tiago Djalò tenure at Juventus set to end after just 16 minutes played
Tiago Djalò’s time at Juventus is coming to an end — this time on a permanent basis.
The Portuguese defender, who had just returned from a loan spell at Porto, is not part of manager Igor Tudor’s plans and was left out of the squad for the Serie A opener.
Now, Juventus is finalizing a deal with Turkish side Besiktas for his full transfer.
According to reports from Sky Sport, the negotiations between Juventus and Besiktas are in the final stages. The transfer will be a permanent move, meaning Djalò will not be returning to the Bianconeri.
At the moment, the financial terms of the transfer have not been officially disclosed. However, sources suggest the agreement is close to being finalized and could be announced in the coming hours.

Tiago Djalò’s adventure with Juventus can be described as brief and underwhelming. He was signed in January 2024 in a surprise move by Cristiano Giuntoli, despite being sidelined with a serious injury at the time.
Juventus paid Lille €3.6 million plus €1.5 million in additional fees, beating out Inter, who had hoped to secure him on a free transfer in the summer.
Djalò signed a contract until June 30, 2026, but failed to establish himself at the club.
He made just one official appearance for Juventus, featuring for only 16 minutes in the final Serie A match of the 2024/25 season against Monza.
Under former coach Thiago Motta, he had already fallen out of favor, and a potential move to Roma last summer collapsed during medicals.
He was then loaned to Porto, where he started promisingly but was later excluded from the squad due to disciplinary reasons.

The move to Besiktas marks the end of a very brief chapter in Djalò’s career at Juventus. With the deal nearly completed, the defender is set for a fresh start in Turkey — a new opportunity after a forgettable stint in Turin.
