Tonali to Juventus: Reality or Make Believe?

There has been multiple reports that suggest that Sandro Tonali could join Juventus but how true are these rumours. They’ve come up before suggesting Tonali would make a move to Turin, but they where never multiple reports and never back to back.

Firstly news came that if Giuntoli had enough spending power to sign however he wanted in January, he would make a move for Tonali. This money could come from the sale of Andrea Cambiaso and signing a cheaper replacement.

There is also a need to get make sure Juventus to qualify for Champions League, to help clear some debts and create more spending money. It is also an issue of which loan players come to Juventus permanently with agreements with options to buy for Michele Di Gregorio, Pierre Kalulu, Francisco Conceicao and Nico Gonzalez.

Giuntoli is also already looking to bring both Randal Kolo Muani and Renato Veiga who where bought in on loan in January. This is all going to be very expensive since Sport-Mediaset are almost certain that Kolo Muani will stay at Juventus.

But if Juventus already are facing some light debts and are set to sign so many players how would Juventus complete the deal? Well Sport-Mediaset also have the answer for that being a swap deal between the two clubs.

The deal would be for Douglas Luiz and around 30 million euros to bring Tonali to Turin. This is because Luiz hasn’t fit in well with Turin, he has been great and has missed a lot of games due to injury, and a return to England could be a move he looks to make. Giuntoli and Motta are okay with losing him as we already have midfield depth.
