Two Premier League clubs want to sign Juventus youngster

Samuel Mbangula’s future at Juventus appears increasingly uncertain, with two Premier League clubs reportedly eyeing a summer move for the talented young winger.

The 20-year-old was handed his senior debut this season under Thiago Motta, who was impressed by Mbangula’s pace, flair, and direct approach.

The Congolese winger quickly made an impression, featuring regularly in the starting lineup and offering a fresh attacking dimension to Juventus during Motta’s brief tenure.

However, the landscape shifted dramatically following Motta’s departure and the appointment of Igor Tudor.

The Croatian manager’s tactical philosophy has not suited Mbangula’s skill set, leading to a significant reduction in playing time.

The winger has spent most of the second half of the season on the bench and is now considered surplus to requirements.

With Tudor set to remain at the helm for the 2025/26 campaign, the chances of Mbangula regaining a prominent role in the squad seem slim. Juventus are therefore reportedly open to selling the winger, should a suitable offer be made.

Premier League sides Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest have expressed concrete interest in signing Mbangula.

Both clubs are aiming to bolster their attacking options and view the Juventus youngster as a promising and affordable reinforcement.

For Mbangula, a move to the Premier League could provide the opportunity to revive his momentum and gain valuable first-team experience in one of the most competitive leagues in the world.

While his time in Turin may not have developed as hoped, Mbangula’s talent is unquestioned — and a change of scenery might be exactly what he needs to fulfill his potential.
