Dušan Vlahović has decided to pause transfer talks with Fenerbahçe after receiving a phone call from former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri. At the same time, AC Milan are showing interest in the striker.

Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has paused negotiations with Turkish giants Fenerbahce after holding preliminary talks with former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.

The Serbian forward, whose contract with Juventus runs until June 2026, is widely expected to leave the club this summer amid growing interest from several European sides.

Allegri recently reached out to Vlahovic, marking their first direct contact since Allegri’s exit from Juventus.

Although the conversation was not centered around a potential transfer, the outreach indicates Allegri’s continued interest in the 24-year-old forward.

Allegri was instrumental in bringing Vlahovic to Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022. While their working relationship in Turin had its tensions, their rapport is reportedly in a stable and professional place today.

Meanwhile, Vlahovic has put transfer talks with Fenerbahce on ice. Despite strong interest from the Turkish side now coached by Jose Mourinho Vlahovic appears to be biding his time to evaluate other offers amid a shifting striker market in Europe.

The striker’s hefty salary, which now sits in the double-digit million range, has made him a financially challenging target for clubs like AC Milan. His wage demands not just his transfer fee remain a key hurdle for many potential suitors.

Fenerbahce, under Mourinho’s leadership, are keen to make a marquee signing, and Vlahovic has been on their radar since the Portuguese manager took over on June 1.

However, Vlahovic is reportedly not rushing into a decision, especially with the Club World Cup on the horizon and other elite European clubs monitoring his situation.
