Manchester United are considering Dusan Vlahovic as a possible replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports from The Telegraph.
Dusan Vlahovic joined Juventus last winter from Fiorentina for €81.6 million, with a contract until 2026.
Since his arrival at Juvetus, Dusan Vlahovic has not shown the highest level yet but has been one of the leading players, where he has scored 17 goals in 39 games played in all competitions.
Although the news of the 22-year-old striker’s exit from Juventus continues to increase mainly due to Juventus’ instability, he is not thinking about leaving and the club has no plans to let him go.
Manchester United plans to part with Cristiano Ronaldo, who continues to show that he is not happy to stay there without getting enough time to play, even as early as in January, although his coach Ten Hag has continued to say that he will finish the whole season at Old Traffold.
So, if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves, Dusan Vlahovic is one of the players the club will immediately try to sign.
It’s not the first time that English teams shown an interest to sign Vlahovic because when he was still at Fiorentina, he refused to move to Arsenal, who wanted him so much, and ended up heading to the Allianz Stadium.
Manchester United are expecting Juventus to miss next season’s Champions League, which could make it easier to convince Dusan Vlahovic to leave Juventus.
Currently, Dusan Vlahovic is considered ‘untouchable’ at Juventus.
