AC Milan have emerged as Dusan Vlahovic’s top destination this summer, with the Serbian striker reportedly making it clear he prefers a move to the Rossoneri if he leaves Juventus.

That’s according to respected journalist Gianni Balzarini, who shared the latest insights on the striker’s transfer saga.

With Luka Jovic having left the club and Tammy Abraham returning to Roma, Milan are in the market for a new striker to support Santiago Gimenez.

The club’s interest in Vlahovic has grown since Max Allegri was appointed head coach, a move that has reportedly influenced Vlahovic’s thinking.

Speaking to the media, Balzarini confirmed the Serbian international has his heart set on joining Milan.

“Here’s the problem, guys  he chose a team: Milan. He has chosen Milan. He doesn’t care about going to Fenerbahce, he doesn’t care about Saudi Arabia. The Premier League didn’t move as expected either. Right now, he’s focused on leaving Juventus for Milan.”

Milan are only willing to pay a maximum of €25 million, a fee Juventus could accept due to the financial benefit of offloading Vlahovic’s high salary. However, his agent, Darko Ristic, is demanding a lucrative wage package that is slowing negotiations.

Milan’s wage offer: €6–7 million + bonuses

Ristic’s demand: close to €10 million

Vlahovic’s current salary at Juve: €12 million

“Maybe not the €12m he earns at Juventus, but he’ll struggle to go below €10m.”

It remains uncertain whether Milan will deepen negotiations with Juventus and the striker’s camp. The club is reportedly evaluating how far they can stretch financially to make the move happen, but the striker’s salary demands remain the key obstacle.
