Juventus keep tabs on Atalanta’s €20m-rated rated rising talent
Juventus is already looking to the future, and their focus has once again landed on a promising young Italian talent.
The latest name to appear on the club’s radar is Marco Palestra, a 2005-born winger owned by Atalanta but currently on loan with Cagliari.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, his performances this season have not gone unnoticed in Turin, where he is seen as a potential long-term investment.
Palestra arrived in Sardinia just before the summer transfer window closed and has quickly made an impression with his athletic and technical skills.

Marco Palestra of Cagliari Calcio plays during the Serie A match between US Lecce and Cagliari Calcio in Lecce, Italy, on September 19, 2025.
His tireless work rate, versatility, and ability to cover the entire flank make him a prototype of the modern wide player, ideal for a five-man midfield.
With Cagliari, he has already shown great personality, with his bursts of speed forcing opponents to adjust their tactics.
His market value is currently estimated at around €20 million, a significant sum for a 20-year-old but one considered consistent with his potential.
Juventus, which has a history of investing in young Italian players, is reportedly not ruling out a future move for him, despite the known challenges.

The main obstacle is Atalanta. The Bergamo club views Palestra as a key asset and plans to bring him back into their squad under manager Gian Piero Gasperini after his loan with Cagliari ends.
This makes an immediate transfer unlikely, but Juventus will continue to monitor the situation closely, ready to make a move if an opportunity arises.
