No agreement yet between conte and Napoli after crucial meeting in Rome
Talks between Antonio Conte and SSC Napoli remain inconclusive as both parties ended their meeting without reaching an agreement.
Conte met with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis at his residence in Rome following a morning visit to the Vatican. Sporting director Giovanni Manna and CEO Maurizio Chiavelli were also present at the negotiations.
The summit, which lasted more than three hours, concluded around 4:55 PM. Shortly after, Conte and the Napoli executives departed, and De Laurentiis was later seen heading to Filmauro offices.
Sources reveal that despite productive discussions, no final decision has been made. Both sides agreed to take more time to reflect on the future.
Currently, Massimiliano Allegri is being considered as a backup option if talks with Conte ultimately collapse.
This moment is pivotal for Napoli’s upcoming season, with the coaching position still uncertain as of this evening.
