Who has been Juventus’s best player this season?

As the season is approaching towards the end, it’s time to analyse who has been the Bianconeri’s best performer during this period. The fives names we’ve shortlisted to analyse and decide from are following:

Woijech Szczesny: 

Szczesny has made 31 appearances for Juventus in the league this year keeping 12 clean sheets, the Polish international has made 72 saves in Serie A. The keeper has kept out 3 of the 5 penalties he has faced in the league campaign. Szczesny has conceded 26 goals with an XG of 34.31 which suggests he has been really good this campaign. Szczesny was under criticism at the start of the season but has redeemed himself and once again build confidence among fans.

Danilo Luiz: 

A fan favourite at the moment, Danilo has made himself immensely popular among the suppourters. Manuel Locatelli: 

Locatelli is currently injured and according to reports, his season could be over but the Italian midfielder has done enough till his injury for us to consider him as one of the best players during this campaign. Locatelli has 29 league apps, scoring 3 goals & assisting 4. Locatelli has played 18 key passes, completed 17 dribbles, won 23 tackles, made 31 clearences, 16 headed clearences and 20 interceptions.

Paulo Dybala: 

This will be Dybala’s final season as a Juventus player after the club announced he’d be departing on a free transfer this summer. Dybala has made 25 appearances this season, scoring 8 goals and assisting 5, Dybala has played 35 key passes which proves that he has been the teams most creative player, Dybala has also completed 41 dribbles which is most by a Juventus player this season.
