Juventus is preparing for a new season, and changes are coming not only to the coaching staff but also to the club’s management.

One name gaining attention is Damien Comolli, a football expert known for spotting great players and working with top European clubs.

Damien Comolli, born in France in 1971, is currently the president of Toulouse FC, which is owned by RedBird Capital the same group that controls most of AC Milan.

He began his career coaching youth teams at AS Monaco before moving into football management.

Over the last 30 years, Comolli has held important roles at big clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Galatasaray.

Comolli has a sharp eye for young talent. At Arsenal, where he worked as a scout from 1996 to 2004, he helped sign players like Kolo Touré, Emmanuel Eboué, and Gaël Clichy.

Later, at Tottenham, he played a key role in bringing in a young Luka Modric, who grew to become one of the world’s best midfielders. At Liverpool, Comolli helped secure major signings like Luis Suárez and Jordan Henderson.

After a break, Comolli returned in 2020 as president of Toulouse FC. He was once considered for a top executive role at AC Milan, but the club decided to keep their current CEO.

Now, Juventus could be next. The club might bring Comolli into their management team to help build a stronger future.

Comolli has openly criticized Juventus in the past. In an interview with Le Monde, he said the club had too many players on contract and treated them more like business assets than footballers.

“It’s not about football but about making money,” he said. “Juventus signs many players they don’t use and then sells them for profit. This is unfair to the players.”

If Juventus hires Comolli, they would gain a football expert with a proven track record in scouting and management.
