Who will be up top for Juventus at the end of the window

Juventus are set for a big transfer window coming up as depth is needed to help boost the squad. Juventus are pushing for a Champions League spot in fourth. But they could only have to finish fifth however, because of the expansions of the Champions League.

But this won’t be possible for Juventus if two main players aren’t signed. A centre back and a striker, both important due to a lack of depth from injury. Juventus have lost Bremer and Juan Cabal for the season due to ACL injuries. Arek Milik has also been away due to injury and still no one knows when he’s coming back, but there is optimism for his return in two weeks.

Milik not being available all season has left Dusan Vlahovic as the solo striker at times. The only players that have really come in for him have been Samuel Mbangula and Nico Gonzalez (who has also had injury issues.

As well Dusan Vlahovic has been in poor form this season especially in the league where he has only scored 7 goals in 16 games. Now Juventus have made offers open to him, many have reacted too this being because of his form.

However, he could have been put up for sale due to a standstill in contract negotiants. This is due to his contract expiring at the end of next season. One club is set to make an offer for him reportedly being PSG.

This offer could be a swap deal because Randal Kolo Muani because he could leave PSG and Giuntoli is keen on the French striker. This could also be a way for Juventus to raise funds for other players in the transfer market.

However, if Vlahovic is to stay at Juventus, then Juventus could look for a cheaper option even if the deal is back ended. This could be for Thiago Mottas old counterpart from Bologna Joshua Zirkzee. He could be brought in on a six-month loan with an option to buy.

This is because Ruben Amorim the new coach of Manchester United plays a 3-4-2-1 which only requires one striker. Now Zirkzee could leave, and Juventus could be his destination to reunite with his old coach.

However, the idea of Zirkzee not being wanted by Amorim could be a hoax. He spoke in a press conference after a 2-2 draw to Manchester United where Josuha Zirkzee featured in the closing minutes of the game. Amorim said “I want to keep Josh Zirkzee because he gives everything”. “He’s trying in training, but we don’t know, the window is open… we will see what happens”.
