Andrea Cambiaso has been in serious talks to leave Juventus and make a move to Manchester City as they look for a short rebuild in January. City and Juventus held discussions today over the figure of the deal if Cambiaso was to leave.
City initially offered 60-65 million euros for Cambiaso to Juventus which Juventus declined. Instead talks were held today between the two clubs today however nothing has come out around the two clubs agreeing any figures.
Cambiaso also held a phone call with City today is news that has come out from Fabrizio Romano on YouTube. However, Cambiaso declined them saying that he would like to stay at Juventus for the near future.
But if he was to leave Juventus do have a replacement in mind being Patrick Dorgu from Lecce. He has been on a breakout season so far this campaign and now has a lot of teams looking for his signature. Other Serie A club Napoli have been interested since the start of the season.
Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United have both also been interested in the left back so this has upped his price. If Juventus would sign him, they would likely have to fork out around 30-35 million this would leave another 40-50 million to spend.
This money could then be used to sign David Hancko from Feyenoord. Juventus has been interested in Hancko for a while now but don’t have the money to complete it. If Cambiaso leaves the money bought in can be used to complete the deal.
