Journalist confirms Juventus is looking for a new manager

Juventus is reportedly exploring options for a new head coach, with Thiago Motta already aware of the club’s plans.

The Italian giants have endured a challenging season, which has only worsened in recent weeks following significant setbacks in both domestic and European competitions.

The Bianconeri were knocked out of the Champions League and the Coppa Italia in quick succession, and their struggles reached a historic low after suffering a crushing 4-0 defeat against Atalanta their worst home loss in 57 years.

These results have intensified pressure on Motta, with growing speculation that Juventus’ management may decide to make a coaching change.

While Juventus’ leadership has avoided direct criticism, a major restructuring at the club appears unlikely at this stage. However, Motta and his coaching staff may face an uncertain future as the season comes to a close.

According to Italian journalist Sandro Sabatini, Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has initiated contact with potential replacements for Motta.

Reports suggest that Motta himself has learned about these discussions, fueling further speculation about his tenure.

“This management has been somewhat unclear,” Sabatini remarked during an appearance on Pressing, as cited by JuventusNews24.

“Giuntoli has supported Thiago Motta since the summer, but in recent months, the situation has changed. From what I understand, the director has reached out to acquaintances and made exploratory calls to other coaches, and Motta is aware of it.”

This scenario echoes last season’s events when Massimiliano Allegri was reportedly informed that Juventus was seeking a new coach despite having a year remaining on his contract. If the reports are accurate, it appears history may be repeating itself in Turin.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Juventus’ management to see whether they will stand by Motta or opt for a new direction. With mounting pressure from fans and club officials, the coming weeks could be decisive for the future of the team’s leadership.
