Juventus are preparing to battle Inter Milan in the transfer market for two highly rated Italian talents  Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.

Inter Milan have expressed interest in bolstering their squad with top Italian players, and Gianluigi Donnarumma is reportedly at the top of their wish list.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper’s contract with PSG is set to expire in June 2026, and his future in Paris remains uncertain. If he fails to agree on a new deal, Donnarumma could become available as a free agent next summer.

Additionally, Inter have made 18-year-old Giovanni Leoni a top defensive target. Following the appointment of Cristian Chivu as head coach, Inter are keen to bring the teenage talent from Parma to Milan as part of a long-term project.

Bianconeri are ready to challenge Inter for both Donnarumma and Leoni.

In Donnarumma’s case, Juventus may attempt to strike a deal as early as this summer. With PSG possibly willing to sell before his contract runs down, Juventus could offer a fee to secure the Italian shot-stopper sooner rather than risk waiting for free agency.

As for Leoni, Juventus are equally keen. The club views the highly rated defender as a valuable asset for the future and is prepared to match Inter’s interest in bringing him to Turin.

The coming weeks could prove decisive. If PSG fail to extend Donnarumma’s contract, both Juventus and Inter may go head-to-head to sign him.

Meanwhile, Leoni’s future could depend on how determined Parma are to keep their young star   and which club makes the most compelling pitch to secure his signature.
