With the January transfer window closed, Juventus can now shift their attention to extending the contract of Paulo Dybala. However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri are already eying up possible replacements. Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo and Sassuolo’s Giacomo Raspadori are on the shortlist.
It’s no secret that Dybala future in Turin is unsure. Journalist Luca Bianchin talked about it with Max Statman last week: “The only serious thing to say is Juventus will meet the agent and talk about the deal. No one can be sure if Dybala will continue playing for Juve or not at the moment.”
Contacts made
Juventus have already had contacts with the agent of Zaniolo in December, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on monday. Both the Bianconeri and Max Allegri like the Roma midfielder. And the Juve coach has done so for a long time. It won’t be easy for the Old Lady, because Roma view Zaniolo as a key player in their project and he has a contract until June 2024. Zaniolo’s name seems to keep getting linked with Juventus every year.

In addition to this, Roma’s general manager Tiago Pinto spoke about Zaniolo’s future in Giallorossi earlier today. “Will Zaniolo for sure play for Roma next season? I can’t guarantee that and no one can.”
Giacomo Raspadori’s contract at Sassuolo ends in 2024 too. A young Italian with a sustainable salary and hunger for success. Raspadori can play as and behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1 and from the left in a 4-3-3. He was taken to the European Championship this summer by Mancini and Allegri has been observing him for a while. Raspadori will cost 35 million euros at minimum and rivals Inter are intersted too.
