Rummenigge hails phenomenal Bonucci and Chiellini, but insisted that Cristiano departure was good for both sides




In a recent interview to La Gazzetta Dello sport, Karl Heinz Rummenigge, UEFA manager and former chairman of Bayern and legend of German National team, Talks about ” Juventus ” and in particular the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo from juventus to Manchester United.

Talking about Bonucci and Chiellini he said that, The Azzuri’s are very lucky to have warriors like Bonucci and Chiellini and insisted that when he saw them in euros he wondered how old are they because the way they were defending and the experience they are showing on the field is worth more than coolness of young players.

“Age is just a number for both of them they are still very fresh and ready to battle. I saw them and I wondered: how old are Bonucci and Chiellini? The age and experience of the two Azzurri were worth much more than the coolness of the boys. The two of them were phenomenal,with someone else they practically won the European Championship,” he concluded.
