Report: Juve trying to immediately close the deal for Scamacca before Inter

As first reported weeks ago by Sky Sports Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are interested in signing Sassuolo Striker and Italian international Gianluca Scamacca. Juventus, who originally wanted to wait until the summer, now would like to bring in the 23 year old Scamacca as early as this up coming transfer window. The change of plans is for two reason, the first being the injury to Chiesa, and the second reason being they are desperate to keep him away from their biggest rivals Inter, who are said to be preparing a bid for the player this Summer

Next week Cherubini will meet the Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali, to try to persuade him to immediately sell the player to the club. It won’t be easy, but he will try. And meanwhile Morata sits and waits, as bringing in Scamacca could mean Juve have their replacement and maybe a swap deal for Memphis Depay could be on the horizon, as Barcelona had first preposed this deal just about two weeks ago.

With Juventus finding it difficult to get consistent production from forwards, it seems Juventus may have found their long term solution, someone much younger who can grow with the youth around him, and from all indications, that player Juventus seem to be targeting is Gianluca Scamacca. If you’re a fan of his, don’t get your hopes up as he may not be as cheap as we all first expected, with reports suggesting his fee may have risen for €20M to a now whopping €40M. The market is still open until the end of the month and as we know in Football anything can happen so lets wait and see.
